Nutella

After eating too much fatty foods like fried liempo, chicken mcdo, and any other meat dishes, I just take a slice of bread and nutella. Everybody loves nutella, I guess!

Diamond Peel...a great way to indulge at SPLURGE

Tried this one?
It was almost a year from the last time I had my diamond peel. I just love the after effect because your face will be very smooth and pimple scars will be less visible. Last Wednesday, January 11, I went to Splurge (formerly Dermaline) to have my diamond peel. It was 7pm and Aiken was there. After 45 minutes, the treatment was finished. My cheeks were pinkish and so smooth. But, then my freckles...sigh.

Anyway, I recommend this for those who have pimple scars that are not so deep. For those with fine lines and wrinkles. Well, you'll look a little younger than your age if you'll maintain this treatment at least once a month. For the cost, they usually charge 1k for non-member and 700 for members. If it's your birthday, you'll get a 50% off, so that would only be 500php. Isn't that a great way to indulge and pamper yourself sometimes?

Tody's Bigday at Congo Grille

My boyfriend celebrated his birthday here in Congo Grille. The place is great for group dining. There are only a few tables at the back for two. Most of their menus are easy on the budget and really tastes good. I love their pinakbet and kilawing tanigue! Of course, their banana split was mouthwatering! I would definitely go back to this place.

Product Review: St Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter

Tired of the usual hard soap while you shower? Try this!

If you want a soft, smooth to the touch skin, whatever your skin color is, this liquid bath soap is the best. It will really moisturize your skin. Aside from that, it smells good too!

It's cheaper too! It could last up to 3 months. I recommend you use a towel or shower sponge to create a lather and enjoy your shower time!

Here comes another year...2012

Time flies so fast, isn't it? and you noticed you're still in the same place, same work, same friends, all is the same. Nothing has changed, except your hair color maybe.

Well, I don't think so. I remember when I was in a bank, Landbank to be exact, to encash a check loaned from Pag-ibig, I got to chitchat with the lady in front of me. I'm not used to talking to strangers, but that time, it was too boring and the line was too long so I talked to her anyway. Or I should say, I listened to her chants. As shes goes, I got interested. She told me she has worked 10 years straight in a factory of cheese (Kraft) in Paranaque, but she's a BS Education graduate. Earning well and able to feed her family. But after 10 years, she gave up that kind of life. She finally got a teaching job in a public school in Pasay. She rented a place and usually goes home to her family only once a week Furthermore, she said, it was more fulfilling. She found true happiness and contentment in teaching.

So, it's never too late for anything if you want to change. Change is the only constant thing in life. So why not change?

I believe something big is going to change my life this 2012. Hope it's a good one if not great and of course happy!

Relationship Advice 1005: Don't say it unless you mean it.

It was new year's eve, I overheard the couples arguing at the back side of the bus I was riding on my way home to Paranaque. The girl was crying, but with caution that she might be heard, though I can hear her sobs in between her lines. The boy was simply ranting about something I could not understand, but his last words was, "let's separate". At the bus stop, the couple went on separate ways. I saw them heading to different directions.

That was sad. Awful actually. Like a scene from a tragic love story movie.

When relationship turns sour, and couples separate for whatever reason, what would you feel? Mixed emotions and questions of whys of course. Then comes the feeling of sadness, sadness that it ended that way. Then, angry about what have been said if it wasn't true. After that, you'll eventually come to your senses. The love that you still have for the partner that went away is still there, lingering, balancing your thoughts and emotions.

But what if they eventually reunite and said, "Sorry, I didn't meant to say it." Well, it's up to both if a second chance is still worth a try.

My point here is, when you and your partner are in a heated argument, don't ever mention "let's separate or call it quits" unless you really, really mean it and want to end the relationship already. Saying goodbye when you are not that sure will only hurt your partner. The damage is done. Can it still be undone?

The other person would think, you are no longer happy with him/her. Of course, if your partner loves you, he/she will accept your decision because he/she is only thinking of your happiness. What's the point anyway in staying in a relationship, it's happiness, all else comes second.
