Shrimp Tempura with Calamares

It prompted me to try cooking this at home when I saw it at the food court of SM MOA. After searching for recipes, this site (http://justonecookbook.com/blog/recipes/shrimp-tempura/) offers a step-by-step process of cooking shrimp tempura. But I was not successful in making my tempura to straighten up, it curled! I think I need to insert a barbecue stick here. (hahaha!) Anyway, it's crunchy and tasty. I also dipped some squid in the batter and voila! I have shrimp tempura and calamares served with Sinangag express' pinakurat chili vinegar sauce!

Henlin's siomai!

This has been my favorite siomai! I have tried chowkings', Master siomai, siomai house, Dim Sum, etc.. and Hen Lin's siomai got the best taste so far.

A night at PADIS point, MOA

Been to Padis point, MOA last Saturday night, March 31. As expected, the place was crowded. Why not, it's weekend! Time to loosen up some tired muscles and stomache aching for some booze like San Mig Light.

There's a band playing on the stage, the song was Rolling in the deep by Adele but the singer sang it completely not out of tune but something you won't appreciate either..OM! Band singers must really choose a song that should fit their voice. Well, good thing that was her last piece for the night!

Around 11pm, a new band played, 21 Guns. Yeah, his voice quality is good, he could even get pass the audition of Pinoy Idol! Now, that's what customers of Padis point need!

Now, came the bill! Just for two buckets of San Mig light which wasn't even ice-cold, we paid a thousand bucks. Hmmm, over-priced? Yeah, I guess. So, if you want to get drunk, drink at home! haha. But, hey. It was great spending the night with someone special and a new friend.
